Love Latin dance in the Brisbane Area? Inspired by a friend, I'm trying to maintain a Google Calendar with a few incredible Brisbane salsa/zouk/batchata events. The idea is to help us keep track of what's on since it's tricky to discover new events and also tricky to keep track of the ever-evolving events that you already love. With your help, we can help make it more complete and even include one-off events to help people discover and share. I'm so excited I could poop!

The Big-Gold-Coast-And-Brisbane Calendar

Just as I started knocking up my calendar, my friend Jose told me about another calendar that is way more comprehensive and includes the Gold Coast, and actively maintained by an a crazy cool cat bloke called: The Real Estate Dancer. His real name is Mark Driscoll and I called him immediately on the phone to chat. Really amazing guy and we decide it would be okay to have two calendars... mine is basically a subset of his, so if you want the real deal more-up-to-date calendar I recommend you use his at: therealestatedancer.com.au/dance/.

Mark Driscoll lists so many events here! Knock your socks off.

How to Use This Calendar

To see this calendar, follow the link, but it works far better if you go to your personal by clicking the "+ Google Calendar" button at the bottom right corner... then go to your personal google calendar and you should see something like this:

Once you add it to your calendar you can see colors and toggle it on/off.

If that doesn't work, go to: Google calendar > Add Calendar > From URL and paste in "https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/54f199c9597ddc3e9045d03a4f8fe6d96a538f1cc96dedcfbd6254920ada3687%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics". I used to work for Google so I'm ashamed it's so many button clicks, but it's worth doing if you love dance.

How to Help Contribute (to Make this Awesome)

It's early days for this calendar, and only with your help can I add all the existing events not already here. Please help me make this awesome.... message me on Facebook or ask for my number to add new events.
