Sometimes you're drawing a picture and you might want to "cheat" a little and add a ready drawn vector... and there turns out to be a lot of text symbols you can just copy and paste like that into applications like Google Drive Drawing, and many others. In some cases, like Microsoft Word, you might just go "Insert > Symbol", but in many other applications you won't have this option. Below are some websites where you can select and paste text symbols.
- FileFormat.info unicode chars - huge searchable list (eg: ▾)
- Text Symbols.com
- Special Characters by brucejohnson - has arrows and HTML codes (eg: ▲ ▼ ► ◄)
- Triangle signs - includes unicode values for arrows in all directions (including diagonal '\u25e5').
- Emojipedia.org - different from symbols... emojis you can put into text (❤️✨🔥❔).
